nothing lights me up like two people in love.

I love being at a wedding. It is my happiest place and the joy of celebrating two individuals in love with their friends and family is indescribable.

Planning your wedding can be stressful and it’s my goal to make the photography as easy as possible. From the inquiry, booking, engagement session, and day of, you and your time are my priority.

The intimate details, the emotions of when you see each other for the first time, tearful personal vows, the deep exhale that comes with knowing “we did it, that’s my person for life,” the cocktail hour drink that hits, seeing your friends that you wish you saw more often, nana hitting the dance floor - I am here for all of it.

My promises to you:

You and your partner are my priority. I will do everything I am physically capable of to ensure that your wedding day is exactly what you envision.

Your day is about the two of you and the guests you’ve chosen to celebrate with. I will not interrupt a moment for a photo unless you specifically request it.

We will have fun, dance, cry. If you need a hype woman, I am there. If you need a moment of peace, I will find a quiet area. If you need someone to kick off the dance floor, you bet your ass that you’ll find me out there showing your drunk cousin
“H-O-T-T-O-G-O.”

JENN THESE ARE INCREDIBLE!!!! How are you real?! 😍😍😍 I cannot thank you enough. Matt and I had the most fun with you yesterday. You were so wonderful to be around, and you made pictures more enjoyable than I could ever imagine. I can’t wait to see the rest! I’m over the moon with these 😭❤️ - Becca & Matt

The process

I. The inquiry

You’ve hit ‘send’!!! I’ll get the inquiry, squeal and do a happy dance. We’ll do a quick video call so we can make sure we’re a good fit. It’s incredibly important to me to have a connection with my couples. It makes the whole planning process so much more fun. I’ll tell you about myself, my photography, my style and you’ll get my overall vibe. We’ll discuss the vision for your day and I’ll answer any questions you might have. If everything feels great between us, I’ll send over a proposal which will include a contract for your review.

II. Booking

You’ve reviewed the proposal and you love it and want to move forward. Your date is held with a 25% non-refundable retainer and a signed contract. Once that’s submitted, WE ARE BOOKED!

At the halfway mark between booking and the wedding, there will be another payment of 25%. The remaining balance will be due 30 days prior to the event.

III. ENGAGEMENT SESSION

About a month after booking, I will send an engagement session guide and questionnaire. This will help us plan the most true to you engagement session. I don’t have time or outfit limits for an engagement session. I believe in the value of us spending time together and making sure you’re super comfortable in front of the lens. This session will be about celebrating this quick but important time. You’ll get sneak peeks after 72 hours and your images in 4 weeks.

IV. Planning

About 2 months before the wedding, I’ll send through my questionnaire. This asks questions about the day of details (think wedding party, other vendors, family dynamics, family photos). Once I receive this, I’ll put together a timeline. If you have a planner or day of coordinator, I also reach out to them to make sure we’re on the same page. We’ll have a call 1 month before your wedding and we’ll chat about the timeline, questionnaire and any other questions you might have.

The week before your wedding, I’ll send you a quick text to confirm my arrival time and wish you the best wedding week!

V. It’s wedding day!!

You will laugh, cry, GET MARRIED, dance and eat cake (or maybe ice cream). I’ll be documenting the whole thing.

At the end of the night, I’ll upload your memory cards and back them up to an external hard drive. I’ll immediately start working on sneak peeks and have them to you within 72 hours.

VI. Delivery

8-10 Weeks after your wedding, you’ll get an email with the most beautiful words:
“Your Gallery is Ready”.

The gallery will include the option for you and all of your guests to download the high res images. You can also order prints or create an album.

 FAQs

  • I am a people watcher and my favorite part of photography is getting to observe. My style is documentary/photojournalism with a tiny dash of cinematic styling. I am watching for the candid moments; the silly faces, the tearful hugs, the moments where you can feel the emotion.

I will do some posing (someone in your family will want to print a photo for the mantle), but even then it's relaxed and more direction than posing.

Your gallery will be full of true to color images that embrace and display the emotion of the day. I also love a good black and white moment, so you can expect to see some of those too.

  • For me, it's a tie between personal vows and the dance floor. Honorable mention goes to getting ready. Those tend to be some of my favorite candids.

  • Travel was prioritized when I was younger. My mom was known to pack up the car with us and drive. Destination? Niagra Falls, NYC, Disney World, OCMD.

My family is spread all over the world and I spend the summer I was 14 with my Aunts in Italy and Spain. I spent summers of my childhood in Colombia.

From a young age, I knew that I loved seeing the world and seeing love stories throughout makes my heart sing.

  • Engagement sessions are 4 weeks for delivery.

Weddings are no more than 8 weeks with sneak peeks delivered in 48 hours.

  • Engagement sessions are generally around 100 images, sometimes more depending on how many locations.

Weddings can expect 75-100 images per hour. Most of the galleries I've delivered have been around 750-900 images.

  • My primary camera is a Canon R5 which is a professional grade camera. It has dual memory card slots which means that your photos are backed up real time.

As soon as I get home, I upload your memory cards to a hard drive. The following morning, I back up those images to a cloud based storage. I keep the original memory card in a fire proof safe in my home until your gallery is delivered.
